Introduction to put first things first
My greetings to all the readers. Do you all sometimes feel that you are busy all day but the important tasks on the list aren’t being completed. Don’t know about you but I was in a situation similar to this. About a month back, I read a book “The 7 habits of highly effective people” by Stephen Covey, which is a game changer.
Become proactive, not reactive. Define your goals and live with purpose. Prioritize ruthlessly. Seek win-win solutions in relationships. Listen deeply before sharing your own thoughts. Teamwork creates magic - find synergy. Renew yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. Live by these 7 Habits and watch your effectiveness soar!
Feeling overwhelmed? Tasks piling up? We've all been there. But what if there was a way to prioritize effectively and conquer your to-do list with focus and efficiency? Enter Habit 3 of Stephen Covey's "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People": Put First Things First.
This isn't just about making lists. It's about a paradigm shift in how you approach your time and energy. Covey introduces the concept of urgency vs. importance, categorized in 4 quadrants
This is it for today. Will post about the 4 quadrants in the next one. Thank you for reading.
